Very charming boutique hotel on the second floor. Very clean. Excellent staff who assisted to book restaurants when they were already fully booked online. In a quieter part of the city at a 15 min walk.

The Staff was excellent, especially Emanuela, great breakfast, location, assistance and recommendations. We will always stay here while in beautiful Palermo.

The receptionist was so professional, always on hand and so polite. The rooms were really clean and we could not fault the whole apartment building to be honest. Breakfast was so organised and the staff were on hand topping up and asking what drinks you would like. Upon arrival were given a map of the city, recommendations and directions on where to explore. On departure we asked the receptionist to call us a taxi and honestly the staff could not be more helpful. Great location.

Exquisitely decorated

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Family Affair Luxury Rooms & Suites during our wedding celebrations in Palermo. It was the perfect place to stay for such a special occasion. The rooms are beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable and finished to a very high standard. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. A special thank you to Emanuela, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was always happy to help with recommendations, advice and any requests we had, and her friendly, attentive approach made our stay feel effortless. The breakfast was delicious and the location is ideal for exploring Palermo. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Family Affair to anyone visiting Palermo.

This was a fantastic hotel with everything we needed! The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional! It was very easy to find things to eat as a vegetarian. The staff was also outstanding and very helpful. They helped get us ice, and set up a spa service at a nearby facility. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in Palermo!

Classic style, comfortable, quiet location. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Very efficient check-in with the owner, useful map and personalized directions to popular attractions. Breakfast was very good with slight variation each day. Coffee was exceptionally good. Overall a lovely experience.

Charming place with excellent breakfast served by cheerful helpful staff

Delightful bed and breakfast with large rooms. 10-15 minute walk to the historical center. Parking available for 25E around the corner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options abundant with delicious cakes, breads, pastries, eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurts, etc. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Wine bar across the street fun. We traveled with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property.

We liked everything with the Family Affair Luxury Rooms & Suites, the staff were so helpful and the rooms were exceptional, we ended up changing rooms so had the pleasure of staying in 2 different rooms, cannot rate the staff & Family Affair Luxury Rooms & Suites enough.

We are just back from our amazing trip to Palermo. We booked a room "Bordonaro" with a double bed and a big cozy sofa. It is located in a nice modern area near the Politeama and very convenient to go to the city center. The breakfast was really delicious with different types of sweets and freshly prepared coffee. The room is also very comfortably designed and you see they care all the details including amenities. We slept well on the good quality bed, which is uncommon in Italy. From the airport, you can reach the hotel by the airport shuttle (costing only 6 euros and takes 50 minutes - get out at the Politeama stop). We highly recommend to book a UBER directly from the hotel to Monreale (we paid 22 euro); this was one of the highlights of our Palermo trip.

Very good location — within walking distance of Palermo’s old town, yet still easy to reach by car with the possibility to park nearby (tip: parking is paid using scratch cards available at Tabacchi shops). The presence of reception staff is a big plus — very professional, friendly, and helpful, with the possibility to safely store luggage. The room is very well equipped: bathrobe, coffee machine, stylish decorations, and a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, fresh and varied. Highly recommended.

The room was very comfortable, the property was well located within easy walking to the City Centre. Breakfast was great along with the staff who were very pleasant and helpful.

Tucked away on a tree-lined street, but just one block from high-end shopping, you will find the Family Affair Luxury Room & Suites. They occupy the entire second floor. My room was quite spacious and furnished in great taste. The bathroom was huge! It had a large tub and a large walk in rain shower. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They arranged a taxi to Palermo Centrale the day of my departure. It is definitely a small, intimate operation - you really are treated like a guest.

A lovely big room very close to the centre of Palermo. Situated in a wonderful old building and close to a local bar and local shops.

This is a gem of a place in a nice part of town. Lovely staff, beautiful design with period features, comfortable and spacious rooms, great bathroom and large shower, reasonable mini-bar prices and a superb breakfast. Excellent value for money and a charming place.

The location was perfect. The neighborhood felt safe, had nice shops just around the corner and almost everything in walking distance (the harbor, Palermo cathedral, markets…) We loved the staff! So helpful, nice and kind. The breakfast was surprisingly good (for being in Italy). Cosy dining area. Our room was big. The rooms are not soundproofed, we could hear talking from the room next door - but honestly we didn’t mind. Very happy with our stay.

Hotel was beautiful and unique with a nice breakfast in a cute little dining area. Staff was helpful. The hotel was located in a part of Palermo that reminded me of Paris a bit, beautiful buildings and high end shops. The main downtown was a short 10 minute walk to the beginning area of the historical section with shops, restaurants, cafes and vendors.

Absolutely gorgeous property with friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Rooms were very quiet, didn’t hear any noise from the street. Wish we could have stayed for longer!
